Every night, Chloe Bear comes up to bed with me and snuggles right up next to my chest and falls asleep. She is usually there until the early morning. Well, last night she came up to bed but she was tossing and turning! She kept moving and switching positions and it seemed like she was frustrated that she couldn't get comfortable.
I, of course, started to worry that something was wrong. If she isn't ready for bed, she just jumps down and does something else. I've never heard of a cat not being able to sleep. I was concerned that she was somehow hurt. So I kept worrying and worrying and eventually I went downstairs and she followed. She didn't have "sleepy eyes" so we played with her wand toy for a little bit and she was playing normally. I moved her legs around and pushed a little on her tummy and all over her and she was annoyed but not hurt. I gave her a little dry food snack and told her to come up to bed when she was ready.
She came up about 45 minutes later and curled up and went right to sleep with no problems! Of course, I was up until 5am watching her sleep LOL.
