I want to echo what Chris said, that you have a heart of gold and that you are a wonderful person. I'm also glad that you told us, things like that are nothing to be ashamed of...its what makes us all individuals and makes the world go around. Being here on the puter kind of makes us all even, we can't base our friendships on anything but pictures, our words, and of course the love we have for our furchildren!! Its a great equalizer so to say. I am sure that a few of us have a skeleton or two in the closet!!! I have to say that i am proud of you for being sober and for doing something about it!! GOOD FOR YOU!!!
I am grateful for this group of very wonderful individuals!! Living with two men, i get very disgusted with them from time to time. Also having moved down here to southern Illinois, i miss my friends, mostly my daughters and grandson. Being here, on this message board has given me something to get my focus off of those "other" things. I am sure that there are others that feel the same.
So....alcholic or not......we love you and you're stuck with us!!! I just love reading your cheery messages about your life and what's goin on with you!! (I lost my mom almost 3 yrs ago....will be Feb 1st next year.) I can't wait to see the pix of your new little guy!!
