I'm so proud of our cat Amber
Amber is our 3 yr. old cat that we resued from the shelter last October. She had been at the shelter 6 months due to her shyness and a chronic diarrhea problem. She spent the first two weeks hiding inside a cubby of my computer desk. The next month she spent hiding under the bed. She slowly started to sleep with us at night and keep us company in the living room. She's become a very loving cat over the last 6 months. She still would not come out for anyone else to see accept DH and myself.
Last night my brother and his girlfriend were over. Amber actually made a public appearance. She came into the computer room with my brother's girlfriend and sat here for a few minutes (she was typing a report) and then made two trips out into the living room with the rest of us. I couldn't believe my eyes. Such progress! I think that was her Mother's Day present to me.
