Tough Decisions

Hi - has anyone here ever had a dog with this condition? Our dog was just diagnosed yesterday morning, and it seems we're already on the road to having to make a tough choice because she may need a blood transfusion. And the ones who need transfusions usually don't make it. It's not a very common condition - I just wondered if anyone here had any experience with it or advice to share.

I know that you will be facing a tough road ahead with what ever you decide to do for your dog. The only advice I can offer is to try and get as much information about this disease as you can and discuss all of the options that you have with your vet. This way you will be able to make an informed choice. I will be keeping you both in my thoughts.
