Well our Bluebirds are still around but I am sure not for much longer, couple weeks maybe. I am taking advantage of any photo ops I can get. We have 9 that come regularly to our mealworm feeder.... mom, dad and the fledglings from the two nestings that we had this year. Here are a few of the pics I have taken lately....

The boys...... (I cannot tell Dad from the first nesting male fledgling)

And the girls.....this first one is a first nesting fledgling, the other two I am not sure if they are mom or one of the first nesting fledglings. The second nesting fledglings are still in the process of molting so they are easy to identify yet.

I'm Loving your blues family too Donna! What pretty colorful little birds!

Do they eat anything else beside worms and jelly? What about blueberries? LOL, I had some old hard pinto beans, I soaked them overnight in water and put them out for the birds. Gone!!!!

Sure wish we had those pretty blues here and thanks for posting those lovely photos.

I have been collecting morning dove and quail feathers that they shed on the ground. Seem to be more every day. Thinking about making some kind of artwork to frame out of them. ;o) I was thinking something like this:

Some artists even paint things on feathers, like this: http://www.shangralafamilyfun.com/feather2.html

but I'm not that good!

Have a fun great weekend!!!!
