Dog prayers needed!

So sorry, I have been kind of missing in action a little here everyone. I haven't been getting much sleep.

My 14 year old chi "Buttons" died in my arms Fri morning at 2:00AM of liver failure. She stopped eating and I took her to the vet Monday, the vet didn't have much hope and sent me home with a bunch of pills. I had to force feed her all week and tried everything to save her, but she has had a bad liver and was on pills all this year. At least she has no more pain and is in a better place. She was such a sweet loveable dog and I miss her so much, with tears in my eyes I write this post.

Her son, my other chi Jr (13) misses her too and looks all over the house for her. :o( I put a doggie pillow in with him in his bed, that she laid on, so this really helped.

So if you could say a doggie prayer for her it would be so appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks so much Donna!

I have now excepted it, but it sure was hard since I had her from a little puppy.

Yes, she had a wonderful life with us and I can still see her sitting by our glass french doors looking into our AZ room, waiting hours for Hubby to give her just a little bite of his lunch.  She was such a big moocher, LOL. This is why I knew it was very serious when she stopped eating. It helps to have my 3 other dogs to care for.

Wow! Brionna looks so grown up in your new siggy. Very very cute and I can see Angel is getting so big too.

Do any park walking lately?

(((Doris))) I'm so very sorry for your loss of Buttons. I'm so glad you were able to hold her when she left. I know that was comforting for her. I wish there was something I could say to help but I know there's nothing.

I'm keeping you and Jr & your dh in my thoughts & prayers.

Lighting a candle for Buttons! Young again and waiting at the bridge.

Thanks Greta!

So sorry for your loss too! I sure know they are both waiting at the bridge for us.
