Oh Greta!
I know this is way late, but I was so so sorry to hear of your loss of Sugar Bear. I peeked at your board and found out. As you know I lost my Buttons too just about the same time. My heart goes out to you. It's never a easy thing to lose something you love so dearly. I can relate and just went through the same sadness as you. I bet they are both playing together and waiting for us on the bridge. Hang in there girl, the hurt gets better as time goes on. We buried Buttons between my garden angels, where my other chi is, Willie dog, he died 3 years ago at 14 of heart failure. Surprisingly my little Jr., Buttons son, is doing well and is now sticking like glue to me during the day.
I have a bunch of stuffed Teddy's and one actually talks to me if I squeeze his paw. He is called "Hello Teddy" He was sticking his head out of a cardboard box at church from a collection of things donated. LOL, just looked like he needed a home, so I took him to stay with my other 5 Teddy's and low and behold, I put some batteries in and he started to talk to me, LOL.
I have one stuffed California quail that you squeeze, it has a real quail call, it's from Audubon. It's part of a bird collection and I just love it. Hubby worked at a nature center and brought him home. I wouldn't mind having a few more. Hum there I go again!
Your collection sounds great! I love bunny statues and have a white ceramic one with pink ears in among my inside potted house plants.
