I like today, but I'm partial. It's my Birthday, and so far it's been a good day. My co-workers had a fun card for me this morning and one of them made me the most fabulous chacolate cake ever!!! I've gotten a couple of ecards and emails as well. Yesterday we all got together and had a yummy spagetti dinner and cake. It was a nice afternoon as well.
As for the weekend, it was busy, but that pretty much ended the super busy stuff for me. The Senior scrapbooks are done, and D's DD17's regular volleyball season is over. This comming weekend is the regional tournament and if they win, the following weekend is the state tournament. I didn't realize this, but I have the 11th off. That was a nice surprise. I had forgotten that it was Veteran's Day. But I've also taken off the 12th and 13th just in case the girls get to go to the state tournament. You know - if they don't, maybe I should still just take the time off. It would be nice to get my kitchen cabinets done!!!!!!! I've been refinisihing them for about three years now and I'm only 1/3 of the way done.
Once Volleyball season is done, we will settle back into a slower pace. At least I'm hopeing to!!! D's DD17 is only getting worse, so we will see what that leads too. She's getting down right rude with me now. Errr - I just want to yell at her. D's just not sure what to do. He likes to take things one day at a time. I'm not sure how I feel about that, but it is his decision to make, so I'm working on being more patient.
Oh, we had fun with D's DD8 on Saturday. We carved her pumpkin, and made her a kitty cat costume (even though she already had two other costumes). Then we went trick or treating and to the college hockey game. It was a fun afternoon and evening.
