Sorry I haven't posted here for ages. I now can post more now because my Internet is back online. YAY!!!

I end up having an hysterectomy on the August 1st which I recovered pretty well. The downfall of the operation means I'm start to become menopausal now. Argh I'm way to young for menopause.

I  also received some bad news last weekend, DH's Nana is dying she only got 6 to 8 months to live.  She want to see me but I told Matt I'm not comfortable around people dying. Am I being selfish?

Well that about  it and I promise I post more often.

Rochelle

Hi Rochelle,

Good to have you back!!!  Wow!!! You have had a lot going on.  I'm glad you recovered easily!!!  My sister is in her 40's (I know still older than you) and she's being going through a slow menopause for years now and she's not had this surgery.  Do you live where it gets cold in the winter?  If so, at least you can go stand outside when you get a hot flash :0)

As for your DH's Nana - I'd go see her.  I'm the most unmedical person around.  I really get nervous in hospitals and can't watch when I have to get a shot.  But Nana is old and if this is one of her last wishes, I think going to see her is a way to honor her.  It will only be for a short visit.  She probably can't make it for a long visit.  Please think about it.  I don't think you will regret not going to see her!!

Again - good to hear from you!!!!

oh rochelle....

I have lost so many people i  loved in my life... its a sad twisted story... but the count is currently holding at 4.. and i was there for ALL of them.. and i WISHED EACH AND EVERYTIME that i wasnt there...  IT IS NOT SELFISH to not want to see what isnt the woman you remember(i guess)... my 1st hubby died sitting right behind me as i played on the puter,,,, went w/o a sound or movement... and I WISH to this day that it hadnt been me who found him that way,,, but there was only 2 of us and well there was no one else...

its hard to see the shell of the person... and I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND ..

DO NOT FEEL BAD for feeling the way you do...

Thanks soarangels, I found losing my son at tender age of 2.5yrs old by hit by a car. I lost my Grandad nearly 14 years ago and I never got to say good bye. Mom thought it be good idea that I don't go to the funnel.

Thanks Kristi, We don't live where it get cold down here. The only cold state is Tasmania. There no way I go to live there because my loser ex lives there.

DH's Nana is back in hospital now and like you I hate hospital since I spent most of my life in and out hospital.
