Well...front page news again.  Another person trying to gain our trust comes out as cheating on his family.  Please explain to me what is so GD hard about staying faithful?  Cheating on his wife - while she's busting her butt on the campaign trail for him - while batteling cancer...what could have been SO horrible that he had to do that to her?!?!  And, I love it - the articles say that "it won't necessarily damage his political career."  If is WIFE can't trust him - you expect the public too!?!?!

I don't get it - I just don't get where people get off causing so much pain to others...

You know when I heard this today I wasn't shocked at all. Not because of who it is, maybe because I'm living it, I shook my head and uttered "figures" I read that he was kind enough to tell the other woman that his wife was in remission! WHOOPIE DOO for him.

I'm willing to bet he IS the father of that little girl.

would you believe i saw the 2 of them in person while he was running for office (even shook his hand) and he was so doting on her and when  he spoke he kept looking at her so lovingly.  i even said to many that "there was on true and faithful H".  not he's just like so many others.  and his W was/is suffering from cancer.  how horribly sad.  i feel so much for her.  trust me--his political career is over and i am glad for him.  and i voted for him.

who is the picture of true faithfulness?  does any MM really care about his M the entire time enough not to cheat?

You said it!!!  I agree - what is so hard about it?  NOTHING!!!  I've had my share of guys coming on to me over the years, but never in my wildest dreams would I or COULD I say yes.  It is NOT difficult to stay faithful, not at all.  I'm proud of myself that I HAVE!!!

When you think about it, we are forever saying here there is ALWAYS that last-second when the two people involved could just stop and say "nope, I'm going home instead".  They cannot deny that!!!  I mean, if you think about it, so many of us have been thru spells with our spouses who cheated when we want sex, and they say NO, right????  Yes, most of us probably have!  Wellllll, they said no that time, right?  They stopped then!  So they're perfectly capable of saying no at any time.

I will never buy that "excuse" of "I'm just human...." or "I just screwed up".  That's NOT THE CASE.  The truth is they just did what they wanted to do, period.  People cheat because they want to.  It's a decision.  It does not "just happen".

He looked like a real jack a-- in that video of him flirting with the ow. "Isn't this speech so great Just wait until you hear ME give it!" ......boping around like an out of control idiot.  And everything that Elizabeth Edwards would do for him , even in her frail ill state. Just think of how difficult this all was for her.  Sometimes you can be very rich but very alone.     And WHY did he HAVE to meet with the ow personally last month? After all , his campaign manager was paying the woman off.  I say he was still at it with her.  After all, that nice cancer free body. Guess he felt he DESERVED that cancer free body.
