Basics of Sex

I have a new partner, he's not overly big but when we are in deep penetration positions...it hurts like hell...I think he's hitting my cervix and it was really painful...

My question is ...will it get better? I love those positions and don't want to give them up...but the pain was intense. It's been 5 hours and i'm still aching.

My previous partners must be smaller as i've never felt this pain, but I also never had such intense sex.

Hi there,

Given he is a new partner, you may need to get used to the rhythm of sex with him. By this, i mean you may in time become a better fit by accommodating, adjusting or even sacrificing some of the intense thrusts , moves, positions etc...depending on how your body's fuse together sexually over time.

I would also maybe suggest propping your back up with a cushion so that it adjusts the angle of intercourse. This may have some benefit.

He could well be hitting your cervix - have you tried changing to positions where you're on top and in control of his depth? You might also try some new positions that could give you the same pleasure without the cervical pain:
