Is all the economic news changing your plans for your wedding day?  Are you scaling things back because of the so-called "credit crunch" or is it business as usual, you only get married once after all!

Also, are you concerned about guests ability to travel to your wedding because of the rising price of gas, and other factors?

Yes I am! I had found the perfect place and then the Wall Street crisis hit! Now I'm thinking of having the event closer to my current home, renting a site for the reception and talking to caterers with a smaller food budget. I've started interviewing already, so I can present DF with the information all at once, so his Qs will be answered already...

It'll be okay as long as we have a good time with family and friends...

I sure am!  We've cut down on the amount of people we're inviting and decided to have the wedding earlier in the day since a brunch is much cheaper than a full dinner with an open bar.   I also found an awesome site on ebay where I got my 100 invites, rsvp's, reception cards, place cards, and favor tags for $79 including shipping.  They turned out great and match my beach theme perfectly! ( http://stores.ebay.com/Paper-Favors is the store).  We figured by all of these changes, we're saving several hundred dollars....especially since we cut our guest list by 1/3.
