What's your opinion about the above weblog story regarding Kansas City pastors endorsing premarital sex? Might this be a growing movement in modern Christianity? Some food for thought.

We have many different religions (and even Fundamentalist vs moderate in the same religions) teaching different ideas. Some interpret the bible literally and some do not.

Because we already have different interpretations God's word under the umbrella of Christianity, I think it's unlikely that mainstream religions will follow the KC example en mass. If mainstream Christian religions can't agree with each other, what hope is there for them to follow a small voice in the crowd?

In short, I believe that the mainstream religions will keep their attitude...and we'll always have a minority preaching alternative interpretations of God's word.
