Like a Virgin

I  love the way you always **HIGHLIGHT** your preferred response.

Why bother asking people, if you expect and only accept a particular response?

In my experience, the men i have dated and have been sexually active with, have shown a preference to some sexual experience rather than virginity.

I would probably say most men don't want to marry a virgin...there are exceptions...

I think a lot has to do with ones reasons for remaining a virgin...for instance;

• wanting to remain a virgin till in a relationship or marriage for moral values.
• wanting to remain chaste (as in nothing sexual) because of religious reasons.

My reason was more for moral values of wanting to be in a relationship. My first partner was a little weary about it, but only for a very brief moment because i infact didn't conform to that timid, shy, clueless stereotype that most men associate with virginity. He was keen and eager after the initial shock....

Let me tell you that men are even weary of women with only 1 or 2 sexual partners....LOL we can't win!

And I just can't wrap my mind around that. Why on earth would anyone prefer to be with someone who's been with many people? It takes away the specialness of relationships in general, and sex specifically.

My boyfriend regrets sleeping with the one girl that he did. He does feel that it's a sin, and with her, he only did it because she wanted to and he felt it was just an expected part of a relationship. Which is good, because when I told him I was waiting, he already believed it was a sin, but realized he could love someone and not have to have sex as part of the relationship - the relationship itself was enough.
