What kind of planet do we live on where someone can get knocked up however many times (naturally or otherwise) and have the rest of the world pay for their freaking kids when they haven't done anything to prepare for them in the first place?
I have recently been through hell with loosing my job and being unemployed for several months resulting in the loss of my car and apartment and having to sleep on a friend's couch to keep from being on the street. I have never been on public assistance in my adult life (I grew up on it because my mother decided she was unable to work because she decided to have a kid and wound up with twins with no father blah, blah, blah and became a victim of society) and have paid into all the public assistance funds for years only to not qualify when I needed it because I was a single person that was able bodied to work (even though I couldn't find a job and had some disableing mental issues at the time) and was responsible enough to not have any dependants (kids) that I never had because I was never in a position to take care of them properly on my own.
Our system needs a serious overhaul and it needs to start by kicking these idiots (women and men) off public assistance when all they do is abuse it. I am not here to pay for your kid!
