I made arrangements for my mom to watch DS,checked to make sure they were still playing, I'm even sitting here dressed to go out. But it's been five years since I've gone out like this, unattatched,single, able to be flirted with.ugh! I used to think it was strange when people told me how hard it was to go out and meet people, now I have some understanding of it! :0) oh well

Well, I hope you went , and I hope you had fun!  I was supposed to go to a concert ,too, but it was cancelled because the artist was sick!

well, a little late but....yes I did go, for about 45 minutes. I'm discovering that going to a concert in a jam band hall/bar in your thirties, is not the same as it was 5 years ago(in my 20's).Had one beer, listened to the band and then left b/c I couldn't even get a conversation going with folks.oh well. DS and I had a great time at the rib festival(where I didn't actually eat ribs, but crab cake:) DS chose to walk it off. He ate a few fries, then got up and pushed his own stroller around for the next 2 hours :) what a trip. I'll try the grown up thing again in a few weeks, and then in August I'm going to see "The Dead"(yes, I'll admit to being a deadhead, however post mortum it is :) sounds like ds is into the cuboards again, later
