Recognizing & Dealing w/ Domestic Abuse

Ah... the abuser's reality. My ex would swear up and down that he never yelled at me and "If I was yelling at you, you'd know it... and my fist would be involved".

The thing that got to me the most was him calling me psychotic. He would say he didn't do something that he had and call me schizo or delusional if I brought it up.

Do you remember me?  My name is Pam.  I was on the board back in 2005, with the name Zen-77.  I was in a horrible abusive marriage.

I could go on & on & on .... the things he said to me were so horrible. The every day occurence was calling me a "fat C***" & telling me to "shut my Hole".

The thing I will never forget was my mom, who was SO good to him, was dying, & he said to me "Youre mothers going to be dead soon anyway". That ranks up there with his telilng our 4 yr old dd "Mommys gonna kick daddy out. She will probably get a new boyfreind, get pregnant & have an abortion". Of course, that also all is a tie with "I will take the baby & dogs out of the house, & burn it down with you in it" or "If i EVER see your face in this hous again, I will rip you to pieces & tear you a new a**hole".

BUT - the one recurring thing that runs thru my head & makes me sick? when he would call me "A trench-mouthed gash". "Gash" as in vagina .... or in his words ... the "c" word.

He was disgusting. Good riddance.
