***Western Oklahoma. We just bought a house, but I live in another town for school right now.

5. School start yet?
***Yup I've been in college since August 19th

6. When does school start in your area?
***Usually second week in August for Elementary, Middle, and High Schools

7. What are you looking forward to in September?
***This weekend is when the dept does "Fill the Boot" and there is a big parade and call me a little kid but I LOVE riding in the truck with him in the parade. :-) I'm a nerd.

8. What are you NOT looking forward to in September?
***Fall coming which means WINTER is closer

9. What is the average temp. in your area in September?
***Usually low 90s thankfully!

10. Does your town/city or Fire House do some kind of memorial thing for 9/11??
***None that I'm aware of.

3. Any kids or furbabies? DS Aidan & DS Logan, DS Gavin arriving 9/14 unless he gets other ideas.  Fur-babies Lucy & Princess

4. Where do you live? Central CA

5. School start yet? Yep, last Monday

6. When does school start in your area? Depends on the district.  Ours started the 24th, but Fresno started a week earlier.

7. What are you looking forward to in September? FINALLY being done being pregnant!

8. What are you NOT looking forward to in September? Hmmmm, not sure yet.  Lemme get back to ya on that one.

9. What is the average temp. in your area in September? 100's

10. Does your town/city or Fire House do some kind of memorial thing for 9/11?? Pelco usually has a big to-do, and our Honor Guard (and therefore DH) always participates.  Pelco also has a really awesome memorial museum on the factory grounds, which is open to the public for free that entire weekend.  DH won't be participating this year, but I'm sure he'll lower the flag, have a moment of silence, etc. etc.

5. School start yet? I'm on my second week of classes.

6. When does school start in your area? It started a week or so ago.

7. What are you looking forward to in September? My 3 year anniversary was the 1st. The SO's birthday is in a couple weeks. He will probably still be on the Station fire tho. Fall starts.

8. What are you NOT looking forward to in September? Not being able to see the SO. Lots of homework.

It can vary. Some years it is in the 80s... others it stays in the 90s.

Not that I know of. I haven't been around here for that in awhile.
