3. Describe 'typical' November weather for your area (not just warm or cold, details please!): mid-50s at night, mid-70s by afternoon, breezy and dry

4. What is your favorite thing about November? MY BIRTHDAY! *g*

5. How do you plan on celebrating Thanksgiving? with my family at my mom's... I'm the oldest of 6 kids and 4 of us are married, 2 of us mwk, so it's a crowd.

6. Do you have a particular 'food' or 'dish' that you look forward to every Thanksgiving? The braised turkey I make is pretty spectacular - no brag, just fact, lol - but I look forward to sweet potato casserole since that's the only time I can have it.

7. When do you start your Christmas shopping? In the past, I wouldn't be thinking about it until about now, but with money being tighter this year, I got started in June, and am nearly done now.

8. When is an acceptable time for Christmas music to start playing on the radio? (Nov. 1st? The day after Thanksgiving? December 1st?) The day after Thanksgiving is perfect for all things Christmas to begin

9. Are you one of those crazies who shops at 5am the morning after Thanksgiving? No way! I prefer to stay home and get my deals on other days, although for the past few years, mil has dragged me out to the shops all over town, lol (this year, she's not coming, yay!)

10. Name 3 things that you are thankful for this November. 1) My Daddy's birthday, which is the same as mine, since if he weren't born, I wouldn't be here, lol.  2) my family 3) my family's and my relatively good health

3. Describe 'typical' November weather for your area (not just warm or cold, details please!): Nothing is "typical" here.  Two days ago we were at 85/65, and now we are at 70's/40's!  It's usually clear and dry though.

4. What is your favorite thing about November? Start of the cool weather for us.

5. How do you plan on celebrating Thanksgiving? At mom & dad's with my bro and his family, as always. 

6. Do you have a particular 'food' or 'dish' that you look forward to every Thanksgiving?  Turkey is great, and I'm always on board for taters n gravy!

7. When do you start your Christmas shopping?   I always say I'm going to start early, but we are pretty strapped, so likely won't start until after turkey-day.

8. When is an acceptable time for Christmas music to start playing on the radio? (Nov. 1st? The day after Thanksgiving? December 1st?)  As soon as Thanksgiving dinner is over! LOL

9. Are you one of those crazies who shops at 5am the morning after Thanksgiving?  I did it last year, and I think Toys R Us was the worst line (waited like 20 minutes).  I did only go to 3 stores for very specific purchases though.  I even got into the first one (OSH), 15 minutes early!

10. Name 3 things that you are thankful for this November. 1.  My beautiful boys.  2. My wonderful family (even the IL's).  3.  Everyone is healthy and relatively happy for a nice change!

3. Describe 'typical' November weather for your area (not just warm or cold, details please!): We're experiencing some Indian Summer here - lately it's been in the 70's - can we say global warming?

4. What is your favorite thing about November? I love the fall and I really like Thanksgiving.

5. How do you plan on celebrating Thanksgiving? We're not sure yet - we're trying to decide between going to Alamogordo with my in-laws or going to Colorado to spend it with my family.

6. Do you have a particular 'food' or 'dish' that you look forward to every Thanksgiving? Sweet potatoes and marshmallows, and cranberry sauce.

7. When do you start your Christmas shopping? As soon as possible. But, I haven't started yet.

8. When is an acceptable time for Christmas music to start playing on the radio? (Nov. 1st? The day after Thanksgiving? December 1st?) Personally I would say the week before Christmas.

9. Are you one of those crazies who shops at 5am the morning after Thanksgiving? Nope - I avoid Black Friday like the plague. I don't want to get trampled just to save a few dollars.

10. Name 3 things that you are thankful for this November. My family, the fact that NM state employees have yet to be furloughed (knock on wood) and the fact that we live in relative peace and harmony in comparison with the rest of the world!
