Making Friends for Life

Hello!

I've been lurking for a few days, figured I'd come out:)

I'm Sammy live in Oklahoma with DF Justin. I'm from a small town, so I've had the same group of friends pretty much my whole life. We were the party crowd, i guess you could say, but like the Hank Williams song "all my rowdy friends have settled down" lol. I'm back in school. two of my 3 best friends are pregnant, one is due next week! DF works on a rig in texas, two weeks home, two weeks at work. so I'm home alone a lot, if my friends aren't pregnant, I've lost them to partying and drugs, and with DF bustin his butt to provide for us, I don't thinks its respectful to party the whole time he's gone.  I'm in front of a computer all day for school and I've started doing photography so I'm always editing pictures at home.

DF aren't planning on kids for a few more years, he has a 4 and 2 yr old who live in wyoming with his ex, we don't get to see them very often, its a 2 day trip to get them and 2 day trip to take them back, and he's only home techinically 12-13 days.

Okay I believe I've rambled enough

Congratulations on your engagment! Is there a date set?

I'm Jenn married to Jason for almost 10 years.  We have one daughter, Haley, who is in the 3rd grade.  We live in South Texas.  I'm an accountant and DH is a teacher/coach.

I hope you will jump into the daily threads in the next folder.  That's where everyone is usually hiding.

I'm Beth, married to Chris. We are in Illinois.

I work as a photographer, and am currently changing schools, for a better medical program... I'd like to get my LPN, possibly RN, down the road.

I know you've already jumped in! Awesome!
