Making Friends for Life

I'm currently hiding in my bedroom hoping pa doesn't come to the house!  :=)  I don't want to get up and get dressed...just yet.  I hear guns shots though - so I'm assuming he's hot on the trail of the big buck that lives in our corn field.  :=(  Sad to see him go.  But better dad or Smelly then some random stranger I suppose.  Smelly will be upset though....dad asked him to take Tootie to shooting this morning since dad was going hunting.  LOL - I think he just didn't want Smelly shooting the buck!

I'm guessing it will be liver and onions for dinner tonight.  I should have picked up some green veggies to go with it at the store last night...but I was in a hurry.

My agenda for the day is to make one last batch of tomato sauce, bake grandma some bread (she is celiac) and clean my disastrous house.  I also need to do some reading and find a celiac friendly pizza crust.  Tomorrow is dad's birthday and he always asks for pizza on his birthday - grandma hasn't had pizza in fifty years....so I intend to do my best to make her one too.  Lemon meringue pie for dessert.

First I must wait for the tiny lingering whiskey headache to go away.

Not much going on here.  I work 4pm to 1am for the next week so I guess ya'll will be stuck with me this week.

I've been trying to get on FB to wish Pam a happy birthday, but it is soooooo slow today.

We've been living with an empty living room for the last 10 days  because we are supposed to be getting my stepdaughter's 2 couches.  They are a sectional and each couch has 2 recliners in it.  It's red so I'll have to paint my mauve walls a better color or we'll have serious clashing going on.  Anyways, the sale of the house keeps getting put off and they haven't delivered yet. so we're still waiting.
