C. is traveling for business today and tomorrow, so it will be just DSS8 and me for those days. My MIL is coming over tonight, though, to hang out with me and her grandson.

DSS has piano tonight and horse lessons tomorrow. This is my first taste of what moms go through as chauffers for their kids to their various activities. Kids seem to be busier these days than we were growing up -- is that just me??

Well, I'm new, my name is Robyn, 29, Husband Beau, 32, (almost, our bday's are in Nov.) I really like this board! SO, I have a pinched nerve, maybe two, in my back. So, I'm in so much pain on the couch, waiting for my MRI to come back. Anywho, we just got married a month ago today! On Tuesday I am going to this place to make a memory box. It's really cool, they preserve your boquete, and put other things like our invitation, menu cards, etc. I'm looking forward to doing that. Other than that, I think we're pretty boring! We watch tv, and go to bed at nine, because we get up at four, for his job. I'm really looking forward to finding out how this box looks, and what to put in it.

Well, hey ladies, how bout a little help, any ideas of what to put in our memory box???? Any ideas?

This is a pretty "normal" week for me.  Mostly just the same ol' same ol'.

However, Thursday night is the "Annual Meeting" at my workplace, which is not really much of a meeting...more like an awards/recognition banquet for the non-profit organization where I work.  It is a catered, evening, dress up & bring-your-spouse type of event & there are people from our community attending, a guest speaker, musical performance, etc...so that's always kind of fun :-)

This week DH is trying to get through all the projects that he has for school so that he won't have anything hanging over his head this weekend. We are going to NC for the Renaissance faire on Saturday and will return Sunday night after we leave the faire.

I'm going to be spending the week trying to convince the kittens that solid food is a good thing and the litter box is not to be used for playing in. Of course, they are still babies---only five weeks old---so this may take some doing. We were hoping that they would want solid food so that we could board them at the vet clinic for the weekend. However, the vet tech there was kind enough to volunteer to take them to her house over the weekend, since the people boarding them won't be available to bottle feed the kittens. I'll have to call the clinic and see how much it costs to board them so that we can pay the vet tech accordingly.
