Hot Topic: Destined for Divorce?

reading this board reminds me of 2 particular friends of mine.

While I keep saying that their marriages are ok, deep inside me, I get the feeling that

they are splitting. But I hope I am wrong.

-- wife leaves the house with/without kids

-- fights at home about the husband spending too much and almost ruin her life savings

--they did patch it up by starting afresh but did a failing business that further ruins their financial situation. Kids are wild and hard to tame adds to the chaos.

--both are looking haggard and drained physically with the man almost looked as though he is sick and old quarrelling and starting the blaming thing. : he is too difficult to please, she is very hard to understand etc.

And the crazy thing is I got caught in between once and almost had my head hit by a flying plate. Since then I prefer to only listen to the phone. But is it better for them to split for a while ? I cannot stand their quarrels any longer myself. But I worry that this may be a tell tale sign of a pending divorce. They have been having this for about 5 years...
