Domestic Violence has no boundaries and hits people of all walks of life (parents, any family member, and friends can be abusive). The only way to put a stop to DV is by giving it a voice. By giving DV a voice it shows victims that they are not alone, someone out there understands, and that they have nothing to be ashamed of. It also shows abusers we are not going to put up with it anymore.

Leaving is not easy I know that from experience but I also know talking about it helps.
