I met this guy online last Friday. It was sort of a last minute thing and he asked me if I wanted to do dinner. I said sure. Then later in the day he asked me if I wanted to go see his friends band play after dinner. I was fine with it. I met him for dinner and throughout the entire night the conversation just flowed.
We took his car to the club where his friends band was playing. We had such a good time. He was really sweet picking up the tab for everything. This guy really seems like he really has his act together.
After the band played, we left and he drove me back to my car, still the conversation flowing. At the end of the date, he said he didn't want to seem too forward, leaned over and gave me a kiss on the lips. We said our goodbyes.
Sat., I sent him an e-mail thanking him for a great night and hope to see him again. I didn't hear anything b/c I knew he had his daughter on Saturday. Sunday morning, I sent him a text saying that if he wasn't busy, would he like to get together and do something. He said Sunday wasn't a good day, but how about sometime during the week? I said okay and his response was "cool, I'll talk to you soon :)".
My friend e-mailed me at work on Tuesday asking me if my company did a particular type of work. I said no, but the guy I went out on Friday does. Do you want me to send him an e-mail? She said okay. I shot him a quick e-mail, very straight and to the point, "can you help my friend, I know you do this type of work, here is her e-mail address." He wrote back thanking me for the lead, but that was it.
It's now Thursday night and I haven't heard a peep. I'm thinking of just writing him off and moving on. Any suggestions, I don't want to call.
