The Pornography & Your Relationship board is a unique board on iVillage, because it offers members a place where they can find support for their point of view, interact with members who disagree with their point of view, and to passionately but respectfully debate for their own point of view.
In order to offer this unique opportunity we have organized the board into separate "folders". If you have questions about porn, you would like advice or support, or you just need a place to discuss various things that aren't necessarily pro-porn or anti-porn, please feel free to use the main folder titled "Sharing Support" for that. If you enjoy using pornography to spice up your sex life, please visit the folder titled "Porn Works In Our Relationship" - if you don't enjoy porn, please refrain from attacking members who post to this folder simply because they're on the other side of the issue. If you'd like to debate the issue of porn with members who have differing opinions from your own, there is a debate folder titled "Debate Porn Pros & Cons" that is perfect for doing just that, and it's here that we ask you to start new threads if you see something in another member's post that you would like to debate, rather than hijacking their post to do so.
Regardless of which side of the issue you're on, please be respectful of other members when you post. If you are not in favor of porn and knowingly post in the folder for the opposite opinion in a disrespectful or disruptive manner, your post could be removed. If you don't see what all the fuss is about and post to argue and disrupt in the folder for those who are experiencing a problem in their relationship, your post could be removed. If you post in any folder attacking members whose posts you disagree with, or if you post to defend yourself or another member against posts you feel are attacking, your post could be removed.
Multiple removed posts could lead to your membership being revoked.
If you see a post you believe violates the Terms of Service, Rules of Play or basic guidelines outlined above, then please click "report a violation" and ignore it while the Community Team reviews the post, and the rest of the thread, and takes appropriate action, if any, per our Terms of Service.
