Yippeeeeee! A Saturday during football season, even when the team had a home game - I still had the day FOR ME! DH decided not to go to the game (yay for me) so instead I planned a "me day" and he took the kids to his dad's house for the evening.
I had a spa party at my house w/ a few ladies (mostly family) - and that was so much fun and relaxing! I got a free neck wrap.....mmmmm....... so nice and relaxing - and I bought some good smelling lotion and hand cream :).
Then I met a few friends at a local restaurant/bar for a "girls' night out" and we had a blast! We ate great food, drank great wine, laughed a lot and just had a blast. It was 5 of us, all of us are married and 3 of us have small kids - so it was sooo nice to just hang out and have a good time :).
So - I'm still kind of shocked that I got to do this during football season ROFL. Normally Saturdays are just me & the kids cuz dh is gone ALL DAY to the games.
