Hot Topic: In Love & Sports

when we're home, I always feel like I would spend my time better cleaning this or finishing that project, but when we make an "EVENT" of it all, it just seems more enjoyable to me.

Anyone else like LIVE sports better than tv?

For me, it depends on the sport, honestly.  I get bored out of my skull at baseball games, so having the commentators (okay...SOME of the commentators) in the background breaking up the monotony is nice.  College football is fun if you go for the experience, but better at home because you can see who's who and not have to watch through binoculars.  The biggest difference, IMO, is hockey, just because you can't grasp the game on TV.  It took me seeing it live to really be hooked.  Same with my mom. 

I love going to hockey games, just because it's so interesting to watch them work.  Plus I play, so it's another level altogether.  I can go without the other live events.

We usually go to baseball and hockey games.....I usually enjoy them better at the game although sometimes the beer vendors at the baseball games really get on my nerves!!!  Other than that I'm usually pretty happy to see them live!!
