What does Thanksgiving mean to you?

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I would love to know: what does Thanksgiving mean to you? From mom's stuffing, to sitting down to a big family dinner, what are your favorite Thanksgiving moments? Tell us about your best Thanksgiving memory, a family tradition or that special dish that makes the day complete. If only a picture will do your holiday table justice, post it here and let us see how you celebrate!

*Note: Your story may be used in an upcoming iVillage Thanksgiving feature.

Thanksgiving used to be a travel weekend for me; my family would visit aunts and uncles on my dad's side. After he died, we used to host dinner at my house and have about 20 people for dinner.

After a while, mom got tired of that, so now we have dinner for the 2 of us, and in recent years, Mr. Pooh. Sometimes his sister & her DH will host dinner, so we join them for fun and food.

Mom makes stuffing that is out of this world, I make sweet potato pies, and a good time is had by all.
