i used to have a tanning membership to a local place, it was $63 a month for unlimited tanning. around June of 2008 i decided that i was paying too much for something so silly and was wasting my money so i canceled the membership. i've moved a couple times since then and wasn't always getting all my mail, including bank statements, so i would just kinda glance at my account information online to make sure all my bills and stuff were getting taken care of. (and this is really my fault that i didn't look closer and pay better attention). well, i notice today that this tanning place is STILL taking money out of my account... that's over $1,000 they have taken since i canceled with them! I WANT MY MONEY BACK! i'm soooo mad right now. i could REALLY use that money! i'm waiting on a call back from the district manager about it... any advise on how to handle this?

When i worked at the tanning place and people canceled their memberships they had to sign this waiver thing saying that they were canceling and both the store and the customer got a copy of it. We werent even allowed to do it without the customer coming into the store.
