Well guys here i go again. I had a court date today and I was screwed again. I took my husband in for contempt of court as he has not paid me the settlement money he owes me. We get into court and I am served with an admendment to the divorce decree and the judge postponed the case. MY x does not want to pay me anything that he owes me. He has not got the information to the accountant for his taxes and because I filed in Jan he wants me to pay his taxes. He is going to owe as he is self employed. This is another one of his ways to control me again. He can afford to pay a lawyer but not his taxes go fiqure.
If he can screw me any way he will!!! There is no justice in this world for those of us that fight back and get out. I am in dire need of that money and don't know what i'm going to do with out it. They even wanted to take my retirement. I don't know what i ever did to him to deserve to be treated like this. I have tried to get back on my feet and he keeps knocking me down!!!! I can't take it anymore. THis has to stop i am not that strong anymore.I want to get away but i can't leave my children. Oh well I need to get going and start fighting again!!!

That is so aggravating and I'm sorry you are having to go through this mess :-(

Have you tried contacting your local DV center and see if maybe they can help in some sort of way? I mean it's worth a shot, ya know?

And I do have to say, they really need to revamp our hospital system AND our justice system. And I mention hospital system because when I tried going to the ER last night, I went to three different hospitals,....and they were all at full capacity and short staffed! *sigh* Needless to say, I didn't get seen :-/

wishfull I am so sorry that you didn't get seen at the hospital. I know that you were hurting pretty bad to go to the hospital. Then here you are on the board even when you hurt. Hopefully you will get to see a doctor today. Hope you feel better soon. You know the only way that things will change is if we stop allowing the sytems to stay at status quo. We nee to be very vocal and let the people know that we will no longer take the bad treatment that we get.
We need to hold the people in power accountable for the mistakes and wrongs in the system. We need to shout not whisper. So shout as loud as you can .
