Domestic Abuse: New Beginnings

I started with this board in March 2000, and became the community leader of it in November 2000, ending my leadership a couple of times, and permanently in June 2005 when I met and married my soul mate who has helped me deal with the after-effects of an abusive ex.

Thank you to cajunharmony, who was my MOH at my wedding almost a year ago; butterfree2000 who was my first cl; followed by iforgot2, silvermoon, mollymyangel and I forget who else (sorry!), and ending with harmony.  Forever in my heart is wishful, mizlizzy, mindspeak, jeepster, stretch123, buffphone and issabug.  Issa and I have gotten silly over iced teas, laughing up a storm when she'd come to town to do battle with her evil ex.  I've gotten to meet blueliner and guppyfish in person at Tequila Jacks in Long Beach.  I met up with butterfree in Las Vegas in 2003.  They were the people when I needed someone to talk to at 3am, they were there to listen.

My love to all of the above, plus the many, many others I was privileged to meet on this journey.  You saved my sanity during insane times.  You laughed with me, cried with me and above all, listened.

I remember when we were all reggies here and I remember guppyfish, man, I haven't seen her in ages on here. I remember her being here when I was still w/the abusive ex. I can't believe it's been that long! And I remember mollymyangel and silvermoon as well, they were always so nice. And I also remember jeepster and lizzy and mindspeak from the RDA board. I can't believe it's been that long! I guess it's like that saying, "what a long, strange, trip we've been on" You know I love you lots Tracy and I still hope you will come by next door from time to time to peek in and say hi :-)

To all those lurkers and our reggies out there, even though this board is closing and merging next door to Recongnizing & Dealing w/Domestic Abuse, I will still be there so you will still see some familiar faces and I hope you will still come by to that board and be a part of the community.
