May-December Relationships

Hi everyone, let me introduce myself, I am Patti married to Dana. Just married as my title states on August 23rd.

Dana and I are 24 yrs. apart. I met Dana online in a chat room, titled "Older Women", had NO CLUE whatsoever that it was a room actually for older women and younger men!

Once I realized it, I clicked myself  out of there ASAP...LOL. I was VERY new to the computer age and was only surfing around, and wound up in that room.

Well, it was too late and a young gentleman by the name of Dana caught my screen name and i.m'ed me.

Well, to make a long story short, we "merged" after awhile and this coming November 14th, will be 11 yrs. together.

It was a hard decison for me to finally come to the term of marrying him, NOT because I didn't love him, but because of what people would say/think.

I was always one to worry about that. FINALLY, one of my daughters( I have 3,  they are 37,29,&24). The 29 yr.old said to me, "Mom, what are you waiting for? Get married already what's the big deal??.

So we set a date and it was 3 weeks ago yesterday. Even though I am married, I still feel that when people look at us are they thinking, "hmmmm, are they mother and son".

BUT at any rate I am THRILLED to be married to this man, he is my soulmate, like no other man has been in my life before.

Hi and thanks so much for the response! I thought I mentioned that we also met in a chat room, well that's where I "accidently" clicked in to. Was the chat room called Older Women-Younger Men?

I never noticed the "younger men", cause I was surfing so much...LOL.But when I DID realize  it, I quickly scrammed out of there, but obviously not quick enough at the time...LOL

I'd like to read about others that are or have been in the same boat as us. Also, what are the largest age gaps. I think I might be the one, we are 37 and 61.

 Yes, having been in my relationship almost 11 years, with LOTS of questions over those years, I am looking to read others love stories as well.

Took me almost 11 yrs. but I finally married the love on my life and soulmate 3 weeks ago!..... :o)
