What qualities do you consider to be important in a romantic partner? What do you consider to be absolutely important and you won't compromise on? Are there any that you can compromise on, ones that you'd like a partner to have but aren't absolute necessities? Does your current SO have all the qualities that you want in a romantic partner?

fidelity and honesty and yes, my DH has both of those qualities.

Compassion, understanding, total acceptance, fidelity, and a sense of humor are a must for me.

Neatness, forgetfulness, must-learn-to-say-no-sometimes, working on communication skills, and overly cautious are compromises.

I'm more Type-A and he's more Type-C. My DH has all the above, I love him to death and I wouldn't have him any other way. Especially since I certainly have a bunch of flaws myself ;)

What qualities do you consider to be important in a romantic partner? honesty & trustworthiness
What do you consider to be absolutely important and you won't compromise on? Fidelity
Are there any that you can compromise on, ones that you'd like a partner to have but aren't absolute necessities? Other than the above traits, I'm pretty open, but I won't compromise on those above.
Does your current SO have all the qualities that you want in a romantic partner?  I'm in the process of a divorce and no, my soon-to-be ex does not have those traits above, which is the biggest reason why we are no longer together.

Intelligent, compassionate, kind, honest, supportive, trustworthy.

It would be a bonus if he were curious and unafraid of exploring the unknown.

And if he knows how to cook (well) then I'll sign on the dotted line.
