I've been trying to decide what to do with my dress. Practically, I know that I don't need to keep it, but I'm not quite ready to give it up. I'll probably wait until a little more time has passed.

In the grand scheme of wedding dresses, it wasn't expensive, but it was still a big chunk of change for me. I could sell it, give someone else a bargain, and make a little money back.

I could donate it, too. I think it would probably end up as a Halloween costume, though.

I could remove the petticoat and dye the dress, or even wear it in ivory again, but I really can't see that happening.

I could trash the dress, which always appealed to me, but I'm not one to want photos of myself around my house.

Anyway, I can't decide yet. What are you/ did you do?

Mine was sitting in a grocery bag on the floor of my closet for about two months until I realized it was there.  Now it's hanging in my closet.  I think I might get a dust bag or space bag or whatever to put over it and put it away.  I know I didn't do a traditional dress or even wear it for anything beyond the reception, but I do still want to keep it for some reason.  I might give it to my daughter if I ever have one, but I very much hope that it'll be way too big for her.. lol.. I didn't spend a lot ofr it at all, but I guess I am a little sentimental about it.

Mine was super inexpensive (as in <$50), so for right now it's just hanging in the closet. I need to get a bag or something to store it in, since I caught one of the cats climbing it the other day. I really don't want to get rid of it yet, but I'm not super attached either.

I didn't spend much on mine, either, as wedding dresses go.

I don't really want to get rid of it. It was so comfortable and fun to wear. I'd almost like to dye it and wear it again out dancing or something.

It's in the dress bag in our closet -- it will probably stay there for quiet awhile.
