I'd like to return to the place we went for our honeymoon. I guess that's a benefit of taking a more local "mini" honeymoon -- it's just under three hours away and we could get another luxury cabin. Maybe we'll have better weather and can do more hiking. Plus, our wedding was over Memorial Day, so we can almost always count on having a three day weekend to celebrate our anniversary -- even if it's not on the actual date.

Our wedding was on a Friday, so our first anniversary will be a Saturday. I definitely want to plan a mini getaway somewhere for that weekend next summer.

If we aren't on our big "honeymoon" trip on the weekend of our first anniversary, I really want to stay at either the hotel we got married at or the cabin we stayed in on our mini-moon. Just something to remember what that day/weekend was like.

Oh, and there WILL be red velvet cake involved.

Ours is still a little more than 5 months away. I know for sure we won't be going away, because me EDD is only 2 weeks before our first Anniversary. It will be low-key and just the 3 of us.
