Do you have pets? Did get you get new pets after you moved in together? Share photos!

This is on my mind because DH and I went to his mom's house to cat sit. She has a lot of cats and he teased about taking one home. I was going to agree if he was serious, but I'm really glad he didn't.

Right now we have two cats, one I inherited when a roommate and I got a cat together and she moved out and left the cat ... and DH brought his own cat into the mix. I'd like to get a dog, but we're not really home enough for that right now. DH has never had a dog, so this going to be new for both of us. I think I'm glad it hasn't come up yet. We have agreed not to surprise each other with a pet.

My cat - can you believe my roommate didn't want to take this cutie with her? Ha, I'm not a cat person and feel really lucky that DH takes care of her.

We have two cats. Alice was a surprise from Sean's parents back in late June (she was half starved, and so they brought her to us). Sam came along the beginning of July to keep her company. They're about 5 months old, and Sam is twice as big (weight-wise) as Alice. Sean refers to himself as "Daddy" when talking to them. LOL

(Alice is grey/white, and Sam is orange in the pics)

I would love a dog, but we don't have room outside for a big one, and we don't want anything small. So that has to wait several more years, but I'm ok with that. Most days!

I'm so glad your roommate's cat was able to find a good home with your husband and you. I just adopted two young cats two months ago. They're about seven months old right now. I love cats and wanted to rescue some that needed good homes. My husband is not as big of a cat-person as me, but he's always said he does like them. I can tell he finds our current cats frustrating a great deal of the time, but I think he also kind of enjoys them.

We have one dog, Ivie. I adopted her three years ago when she was a puppy, so I think of her as "mine," but I am learning to share her with the rest of the family. :)

She is half Pembroke Welsh Corgi - dad was a stranger in the night, so I don't know the other half.
