This so depends on the state. My state distinguishes between long term marriages (over 10 years) and short term. In most cases, they will provide spousal support for some period of time and the amount is based on the income of the higher earner (in the case of a sahm the husband's income). If the court feels you are employable, they will impute some income to the sahm based on what they think you would earn if you were working.
