Single Mothers & Dating

I know how much we all love our pets, so I thought it would be nice to have a place to brag about them. Feel free to post pictures and stories about your pets here in this thread!

I have 5 fish - one betta, 3 giant danios and a plecostomus. They all live in a nice little 6 gallon tank in my living room. Some people think fish are boring, but I adore my little guys. My betta is very smart - he recognizes me when I come to the tank and he'll even do little tricks for me sometimes. Here are some pictures of my boys (I assume the other fish are boys; I really have no way to tell. lol) hanging out and doing their thing.

 

Well ... i *think* you guys have seen & heard more than enough about MY pets, lol. Or the dogs at least. But we do have a cat, Zuri (means "Handsome" in Swahilli) who is 4. He's a Maine Coone & he is very funny. Refuses to be an indoor cat, i tried - he went thru SO many screens to get out to hunt. He DOES though, when the weather starts to get colder, like now, actually grace our prescence more than just for food. He actually slept with me last nite - so you KNOW it was too cold out for him, lol. Im going to look to see, I must have a pic of him on my laptop - he's a beautfiul guy. He also "hunts" dogs  ;)   He sits in a tree across the street & when people walk by with their dogs, he jumps on them, lol. & he actually has a fan club I dont even know. 1 day this summer I was washing my car & this middle aged couple walked by & asked "Wheres Zuri today?" & i was like ???  & they said they walk every day, all year round - & the past 3 yrs he meets them & follows them a few blocks. lol   I told them when we walk the dogs, he follows us too., He is a funny guy.

AND, we have a Crayfish named Sammy. Ave won him at school last may. I never expected  1, him to live  & 2, for me to LIKE him. lol  Im kinda attached. Not that he DOES much. But i saved his life the other day Ave says. he was stuck in the castle she put in his cage. She was hysterical till I freed him & we were sure he was ok. lol

& of course Maji, age 1 (means "Water" in Swahilli) & he LOVES to swim, & Kibo, age 12, my Cancer fighting boy - both male Yellow labs  :)
