in Orlando.

What a sad week.

This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.

I was thinking the same thing and don't know what to make of it all.  DS11 gets so uneasy and a little bit obsessive when this kind of stuff happens.  I try not to let him watch the news but he's at the age when this happens his friends are all talking about it at school...so on the other hand its good for him to know whats going on so when they start discussing it he has usually already talked about it with me.

He always asks me "can that happen at your work".  It's better now that I don't work in a Federal Building but I do work in a high rise on the top floor...he has said often that he wished I didn't work downtown.
