Single Mothers & Dating

We had a big dinner party to go to Sat nite at one of his freinds I never met - an old cop colleuge & a bunch of old co-workers - he was really looking forward to it. It is about an hour 1/2 away & we were going to stay at a hotel.

Well, I have been so so sick. Sinus infx that I just cannot kick, even though Im on Abx. This morning we talked & I told him there was no way I could go. I expected him to go on his own of course. But his repsonse was "You do sound horrible. Thats ok, I will just make you some chicken soup & we can hang in with a fire under the covers". I told him I didnt expect him not to go, but he said "Nah, its fine. We only get to see eachother like once a week these days, & we can play doctor & I will cure you". lol

Guess its the 1st time I wont mind playing "patient"  ;)

Awww....that is really sweet! Since you two were playing Dr, did he give you an injection??

Actually ... No, there WAS no injection last nite. Only b/c there was PLENTY of "other treatments" 1st, lol, & I was exhausted by the end of those. In fact, I am still in bed & he will be back in bed (since he gets up at like 5am!) any moment now, TO give me that injection, Im sure  ;)  Morning meds are always more fun anyway  ;)

He made an awesome dinner last nite - homemade of course - chicken cordon blue that was OUT OF THIS WORLD!, & roasted potatoes & grilled asparagus. Yumm Yumm Yumm!!!
