What is it about skin tight body wear that's so erotic?

I recently picked up some of Under Armour's compression wear, specifically their long sleeve shirt with turtle neck, and their full length leggings. They advertise it as a second skin for use when working out, running, playing sports, and the like. I can't stop wearing it. I've layers clothes on top of the Armour, and the feeling of having that weight on me without actually feeling it's texture on my skin is awesome. The Armour feels like a hug that never lets go and I find myself thinking that if no other article of clothing ever touches my skin again, I couldn't care less.

It makes me feel at once very good, very sexy (despite my non sexy physique in my upper body), and very submissive, as though I want to be tied up while wearing it and left to 'her' whims.

Anyone out there have any idea why this is? I understand how I feel, but I don't understand WHY I feel it. Any thoughts or insights?

I have not heard of this second skin, but reading your post and why you like the feeling made me think of the way a newborn loves to be swaddled really tight when they are first born. The tightness of being swaddled makes them feel comfortable and secure; so maybe it is the same principle.

I hadn't considered that, and I must admit it's a possibility. I suppose I wasn't expecting the feeling and sensations I experienced to be as powerful as they were. I know that sounds cheap...but it really did take me back a step or four...

Just to clarify the 'second skin' reference, Under Armour is a type of athletic wear. Their 'compression fit' is cut so that (in their words) it fits like a second skin.

Yeah, it is, though not necessarily in an erotic way. I love the physical touch. I find it validating and reassuring.

Beyond that, I don't know.
