I just saw a thing on AOL about fall trends in nail color and it looks like a lot of blues and greens, plus chocolate brown and a deep red with golden shimmer that I just adore (red's my favorite color).

What fall nail color do you tend to wear, and will you follow any of this year's color trends?

Hi Steph - awesome that you stopped by. I tend to not follow trends but I do like dark colors. I'm  still wanting to try navy. Green would look awful on my skin color. I also like reds but my preference are purples.

I like to try the nail trends when they appeal to me. I'm very fair and the deep blue-green they showed would look good on me, I think, but the red-gold one is the one I'm going to hunt down since I wear reds and pinks more than anything else.

There's this purple that makes me think of you when I wear it, though - it's this deep royal purple with a touch of shimmer that changes the color when the light hits it... so elegant and pretty, just like you! :)

Hi Stephanie!

I like blues and greens. I have a deep green (my fav color) right now but have not tried it yet. This gives me some inspiration now that blue and green will be hip.

I definitely will not be wearing brown but I love red!

I have acrylic nails in a French Pink & White and that's what I always wear. However, I can apply colored polish over my pink and white and when I remove the color, I still have my pink & white underneath. That way, I can switch back and fourth!
