I'm using it now on my knee and so far so good.  It's supposed to be good for extremely dry skin, too, not just scars and marks.  I even love the smell of the stuff, reminds me of the old Sardo brand of bath oil I adored before it disappeared years ago.  Light, sweet lovely fragrance.  All I know is everyone says my incision looks fantastic, I've used a combo of antibiotic cream, vitamin e oil, cocoa butter ( I found a super good brand) and now Bio Oil.  Can't argue with success.

I toohave old stretchmarks, way old! I have them on my lower belly from having kids, I have them on my upper thighs. And now I'm getting them around my waist. I was told that its from gaining weight and then losing it to fast. I mean I weigh 145, I usually gain about 5lbs then drop and then gain it again.

I was wondering what most people are using these days for the marks, I would like them to be gone or at least that you can hardy see them at all. So if you could get back to me on so products people have used for theirs I would love any help I can get

Thanks,

Ah, Stretch marks! My specialty! haha.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I literally tried every popular product out there with no success. My stretch marks had stretch marks - literally. I rubbed oils and lotions on 2-3 times a day and nothing happened. When you read all of the ingredients on the back you realize you're not really getting the benefits of any one ingredient because there are too many in commercial products!

I bought some raw organic cocoa butter - not a body butter, not mixed with anything else, just pure cocoa butter (it smells delicious, like rich chocolate). I also bought pure shea butter, and some emu oil. I melted them together over a double boiler and created my own body butter. After using it for 8 weeks my stretch marks faded significantly. They aren't 100% gone yet, but with how severely I had stretch marks I am quite pleased with my progress.

Good luck!

I used Bio Oil on old acne scars or pimples that were just healing and scabbed, and it really helped reduce the appearance of my scars.
