He does...

...take the laundry to my laundry room & vaccuum once a week. He also does the garbage & yard work.  He makes sure the kids get to school.

The kids help with whatever they're asked to do...fold laundry, put away groceries, take out the trash, vaccuum, feed dog.  Their only real responsibility though is to keep their room & the basement (playroom) clean!

I on the other hand....do EVERYTHING else!!!  So much that I wish there were 2 of me sometimes...

I have a full time job, am Brownie troop leader, PTA Treasurer and handle all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, bills, social events, pet care, shopping and driving.  Its a bit overwhelming at times.

It sure is overwhelming! My husband doesn't even do the things your husband does, so good job for you getting him on the right track ;o) I must say, if I ask him he will help out but he is at work for such long hours and travels a lot for work too, so it's hard. When he's home he just wants to relax. My kids each have chores that help lessen my load, but like you, I am mainly in charge of running just about everything.

You don't know how long it took me to train his lazy butt!  His parents are very traditional, MIL didn't work---so I think it's just what he learned as a kid.  He does try...more now that we have kids than ever before, but I still do the lion's share of the work, like most women do!!!   I think the thing that makes me craziest is that I have to ask for every little thing.  If I see that there are crumbs on the counter, I have to ask him to clean them up....be/c he might see them there but he certainly wouldn't clean them up without being asked?!   I got tired of having that fight & now leave notes all over the place.  LOl!!!
