Hi,

My name is Karen, and my DH is Tony

My son Anthony is 4 1/2 months old.  He was born 5 weeks early and spent 12 days in the NICU.  He had sucking issues but was otherwise healthy.  It was a rough summer since I tried to BF but got so many breast infections.   I started formula and now after a few different ones he is finally on the most expensive....figures!  He is doing so good now and right on track for a 4 month old.

I am a High school reading teacher and my DH is a school custodian (night shift).  I bring my son to a day care near my job, that my friend also brings her son to the same day care.  I am very happy with the day care, but it sucks coming home with my son and not having my husband home (since he works at night).

Hello and welcome to the board. Your son is a cutie pie. I had a preemie once too. My middle child was 13 weeks premature and spent 3 months in NICU. Not fun times, but she is now a healthy 16 year old :o)

I can imagine that it is hard when your husband has to work the night shift and you are left to care for your son all alone. It must be hard on your husband too since he probably has to sleep all day and work at night and not get to see his son much at all.
