I am not a mom. But my husband and I celebrate Halloween in a big way :-)

We decorate our entire house inside AND out (like the second or third week of September LOL!)

On Halloween we have an open house type party every single year. It starts around 5 pm when our friends with kids bring them by to trick or treat and show off costumes. Then we answer the door to trick or treaters while other friends arrive, and have punch & "spooky" finger foods etc. Some people stay all evening and others come & go (back home or to others' parties). DH & I dress in Halloween costumes most years, and many of our guests do too :-)

By the later part of the evening, the party has become "just adults" with everyone drinking and watching horror movies or playing games. It is always a lot of fun and DEFINITELY one of my favorite "holidays"!!
