Make your own confetti, or it could be filler for favor baskets. All you need is some junk mail, old letter, newspaper, whatever scrap paper you have lying around. (use old magazines for glossy colorful toss)
Remove all staples from flyers and papers. Put the paper through a shredder, and voila, instant wedding toss, or filler for gift/favor baskets. It's a great way to reuse paper, it's big enough for easy clean up that some venues may require, and best of all, you can still recycle it later!
Cost to you: Nothing but time. (if you don't have a paper shredder, you can always borrow one from a firend, or use one at the office)
Note: If you like this idea, I strongly recommend NOT using any papers that have personal info on them, even though they are shredded. Stick with flyers and other generic junk mail, or magazines.
