Incorporating elements of the season into your wedding menu is not only environmentally friendly, it can really make for a splendid culinary experience. Just make sure to seek out locally grown items (the less it has to travel, the better) and be open with your caterer and/or venue about your ideas. Get Married has a short, but excellent article on planning a menu for all seasons.
