Hi Everyone, sorry it took me so long to post this, I'm not quite sure where my brain is at this week. lol I'm Alli, and I'm really happy to be here as your CL. DF and I have been together for almost 6 years, we've been engaged for almost 2. Long story short, we did everything backwards. We skipped dating and went straight to living together. Our first real date wasn't until we'd been together for almost a year. My Mom and Dad gave it to us as a Christmas gift, complete with gift certificates for the restaurant, a babysitting voucher (they took my oldest over night for us) and cab fare home. Then we got pregnant with our youngest, and then he proposed. lol But doing everything backwards seems to suit us.
We have 2 boys, 11 and 2, and they keep me pretty busy during the day. When I'm not playing with them, I'm habitually reorganizing our small little house. I am convinced that one of these days I'll magically make everything fit neatly into every knook and cranny. And I'm busy planning our wedding.
Most of the wedding planning is honestly finished. When we first got engaged in Jan 08 we planned to get married that September, but we ended up moving half way across the country, and decided to wait until September this year. Well, DF got a new job at the beginning of the summer, and there wasn't enough time for him to save up enough vacation time for the wedding, so we opted to put it off. We were going to have in March 10, but we both decided we really wanted to stick to a fall wedding, (especially since my Mom had already picked up a bunch of flowers) so we decided on 10-10-10.
When the kids, the house, DF and the wedding aren't keeping me busy, I'm usually on the computer for bit, surfing the boards here at the village, or I'm reading one book or another or am engaged in my favorite hobby, and writing up a storm.
And that's pretty much me, in a rather large nutshell. lol
